Model 8601
The Model 8601 allows you to receive and initiate important calls and access convenient features such as transfer, forward, hold, mute and conference—while away from the office. You can speed-dial numbers from the filterable call log, access contacts and quickly retrieve voice mail messages. The message waiting "button" alerts you if you’ve missed any calls, allowing you to promptly attend to important matters. Or, when you receive an incoming call, you can receive a pop-up "bubble" and an alert tone. From the pop-up bubble, you are able to answer or decline the call. Additionally, the 8601 offers a variety of "skins", or user interfaces, to best suit your style.
This SIP-based endpoint supports the Inter-Tel Shared Extension feature. This feature allows you to share the same extension as your other SIP devices and PDA. This provides you with mobility so that you do not miss any calls when you are away from your desk. Callers only have to dial one extension number, and you can conveniently access messages from only one mailbox.
