Connection Assistant is a customer relationship tool designed for general business use. This invaluable application links associates to each other, as well as to their desktop resources. Connection Assistant is ideal for workgroups and functional departments such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, IT help desks, inside sales, human resources, public relations and more. Designed to integrate into every cost center of industry—sales and marketing, personnel, facilities, administrative, materials and communications—Connection Assistant is the perfect tool for improving efficiencies and operational performance across multiple departments.

Synchronizing Team Members
With Connection Assistant, your workgroup members can receive convenient screen pops of key client or customer information; applications; and Web applications; enabling them to provide personalized service and enhancing their productivity levels. To further increase customer service levels and convenience, your team members can receive call notes from their fellow associates, automatically displaying pertinent customer and account information.

Connection Assistant also provides team members with the ability to easily view the status of any colleague. A pop-up window displays detailed information about the current state of an associate's extension including who an associate is speaking with, Do-Not-Disturb status, forwarding information and more. Call control buttons allow users to quickly call colleagues, pickup inbound calls and perform blind or screened transfers.

Individualized Extension Control
Connection Assistant provides users with flexible control of their extensions to better manage communications, increasing customer service and efficiency levels. Using a rules-based system, users can assign actions to specific events occurring at their extensions. Associates can easily divert unidentified calls to a receptionist or send calls to voice mail at a particular time or from a specific number. Team members can use Connection Assistant to transfer calls from particular parties to various departments such as Collections. Or, play a designated sound file or open a Web page for important calls. The possibilities are endless!
